Exploring ways to incorporate art into our daily life and convenient is a priority of mine. Exploring with various works into developing a line that will eventually turn into wearable pins.
Meet The Artist
As An Artist
Faith Denny moved to the Greater Cincinnati area in 2015. She currently lives in Covington where she embraces her love for design and nature, as she curates her first home into something truly unique to her. This newfound sense of personal creative space and privacy from the city had inspired her to grow as an artist.
The artist pursues several different mediums and art forms including ink, pastels, watercolor and acrylics. You can find her art in numerous private collections and businesses in the Cincinnati area.
Faith’s exhibitions include collaborative shows at 1628 LTD in Cincinnati, OH and upcoming to two galleries in Covington. She has also exhibited at various community centers, the Ohio State Fair, and more.
Adding to her artistic contributions, Faith has served as a curator for exhibitions held at local venues. She's also donating a portion of proceeds from her art sales to “The Kentucky Reproductive Freedom Fund” sponsored by EMW Women's Center.
Faith received a B.S. degree in Architecture from University of Cincinnati, and hold two accredited certifications from Macquarie University.
Discovering My Style
With a seemingly unlimited amount of mediums, designs and potential, it's overwhelming to hone in on what is keen to my personal art. Exploring through various mediums, I find myself closer to defining my personal artistic style. Each time I create, I feel inspired to experiment with colors, layering, textures and many other principals.
Across my works, I find my art is perceived best through watercolor and evokes the most response. A fluid, natural but barrier set paintings that explore opacity and space more than realism.
Inks and figure drawing are where I feel most connected to my art. Being able to take something two dimensional and add life, movement and spatial complexity to a piece of paper will never fail to amaze me.
In the coming years, I hope to continue to grow as an artist. Learning more about what design and art can be, connecting more with the community through my art and giving back into the vessels that have poured resources into my practice.
Growing in Art
I'm always looking for new opportunities to learn, grow and present. I'm currently open to commissions within certain styles.
